How to De-Clutter and Save Money at the Same Time!

This combination really works! I decided that instead of buying new make-up, I had to first look in my stash. You know - the one we all have, but put in a bottom drawer. My goal was to decide to use it, toss it or donate it depending on the condition. I found items in all of the above categories. So then I decided to use the same criteria for not replacing hair stuff. Why do I have a stash of mousse? I began to try the products in my hair styling stash to see if I could use them up.  Some products made my hair flat so I tossed them.  Well, so far I haven’t spent any money on new stuff, plus I have opened up some shelf and drawer space.

Other ideas along the same line – start a gift store. Collect all the items you have bought and not given out or items people have given you and you never used. Next time before going out shopping – shop at you own gift store. You will save money and gain space, plus it feels so good to keep things moving.

Try the same idea in your kitchen. See how long you can go by using the odds and ends in your pantry before they expire. Have fun getting creative with new combinations of foodstuffs.

Let me know your ideas for saving money and creating space.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Mary
